Abstract
Rhodes, like many other islands in Greece, are unexplored areas in terms of the musical events that take place on them. This paper presents data on the musical movement in Rhodes between 1912 and 1923, where the island is under Italian occupation. It referes to: clubs with musical action, concerts, local festive events, music education and changes that take place in Rhodes from the arrival of the Italians onwards.
