Abstract
Tourist industry is the largest and most developed market on the island of Corfu. Depends in great length on its employees and often faces a series of challenges especially after a conquering of devastating consequences due to the financial dept crisis of 2008-2018 and the pandemic crisis due to the corona virus 2020. Every hotel's management seeks directions often that will allow them to preserve their competitiveness. This study explores the impact of the human resources management, employee’s satisfaction, what affects it and how these causes re-enact with the hotel's performance. Furthermore, it examines the relations of those factors. Especially considering the high rates of resignation and the unbearable cost of replacing employees literally and metaphorically everything relates to an ongoing effort to find a suitable candidate and employee new staff. During that effort there is investigation going on which is supported on the one hand thorough literature review on the other a firsthand basis with interviews to supervisors and hotel managers of the island with intention to approach their point of view on the subject.
