Abstract
The objective of this assignment is the connection of Art with Science and Art-science, through the creation of a portrait, which is going to be part of a composite audiovisual interactive environment. It aims, through the combination of various forms of art (painting, sculpting, digital processing, computer programming language processing) to expand and amplify the experience of the audience. The assignment is constructed in 3 chapters through which the following are attempted: a brief retrospection of the history of portraits, the connection between Art and authority the way it evolved during the 20th and early 21st Century as well as the process of the transition of the piece of art from one material to the other and the development of the sculpture portrait in its digital form with the addition of sound and movement.
