Abstract
In the present work, a study of two existing educational digital libraries has been carried
out. These are the digital library of KES and the digital library of the Ministry of
Education and Religions. They have been studied on the way of how they deal with and
resolve issues in their security, their interfaces, and the frequency of updating its
contents.
Then the digital mathematics library of the Ionian University (HDML) has been studied and
the problems it faces regarding the security, user interfaces and the renewal of the
contents have been identified.
Finally, ways to solve some problems that have been identified in the DB of the HDML -
digital mathematics library of the Ionian University have been proposed, and suggestions
have been maden for the optimization of the DB.
