Abstract
The purpose of this study is to highlight the use of music videos, as a teaching tool for
students taking music classes in primary school, which focuses on having a rich musical
experience and enhance skills through multicultural musical pluralism. More specifically, this paper explores the use of music video in combination with new technologies as an educational model and practice that can be applied to music lessons to lead to the acceptance of the "other". In addition, the aim of the study is to propose an educational tool for the inclusion of students' cultural heterogeneity in schools and to help students strengthen their social and cultural identity, critical thinking and cultivate their aesthetics through their involvement with music. It is therefore important to explore new ways of teaching in music lessons, integrating the use of digital music programs, multimodality in the learning process, innovative musical activities, in order to encourage multidimensionally the musical experience and learning. By proposing ideas, collaborative approaches and musical cultural filters to students, an educational process of musical pluralism is formed. Following the design of qualitative research, an educational application was carried out with the pedagogical aim of creating an intercultural music video in the sixth grade of primary school, and more specifically in a multicultural department.
