Abstract
Our everyday life is surrounded by a large number of technological products aimed at improving our living standards. This intense thesis, educates and forges a new generation, that is taught to depend on and use various technological means from early childhood. The role of the school and the institution of education is preparatory. Therefore, it is believed that in the case of Primary Education and more specifically, at the course of music, the use of the available digital music tools is the most reasonable direction. Inspired by the pioneering ideas of Iannis Xenakis and his work on computer-based music synthesis, the research will consider the use of UPISketch as a tool for music composition and music performance in Primary School classes in Thessaloniki.
