Abstract
The following work is an attempt to produce a literary translation (working languages: French and Greek). The extract selected for the purpose of this project is a representative part of Élise Thiébaut’s book, entitled "CECI EST MON SANG. Petite histoire des règles, de celles qui les ont et de ceux qui les font". After the original and the translated text, follows a translation commentary, which focuses mainly on the textual identifiers as well as on the translation issues that emerged during the process of translation, accompanied by illustrative examples.
