Abstract
This thesis entitled “Report for the traineeship in the translation company Lexicon’’ was held under the Postgraduate Studies Programme “Master of Arts in the Science of Translation” of the Ionian University, aiming to recording my two-months experience as an intern in the translation company Lexicon. More specifically, under this thesis are described the supervising body and it’s method of operation while reference is made to my participation in the production process as an intern. Furthermore, are listed the challenges and difficulties that I encountered in the course of my duties during the translation process while it follows the critical evaluation of the institution of the internship offered under the postgraduate program, as well as my proposals for it and for the body. Finally, the thesis is completed with the annex which includes the Portfolio with the original texts translated as well as their translations.
