Abstract
Jackson networks are queuing systems that are essentially made up of many smaller queuing systems. That is, a collection of simple ones waiting systems, in which each ”customer” who departs from a simple system, moves to one another (probably the same),
or leaves the network, if it is allowed, as is a M/M/1 waiting system. The acceptance
of a call after screening is directly related to the delay and processing time in a waiting
system when there are already ”packages - customers - events” in it. The purpose of this
thesis was the study of the experimental network implemented on the OMNET++ platform. There the behavior of the network given various factors such as the programming
environment and the size of the network was observed and analyzed. The three internal
smaller queuing systems that make up the wider network consist of an event generator,
a queue, and a processor. The code for implementation and inference is in the programming language C++ as supported by the platform. Using classes of this programming
language, messages, naming and giving a unique number to each node, but also using the
hierarchical structure offered by the platform, the correctness of the network was visualized and checked, the collection of the data as well as the drawing of the conclusions. For
a better understanding of the behavior of the network, the representation of the results
was implemented in the open source graphics platform GNUplot.
