Abstract
The present paper is an account of the theoretical framework of an installation to be implemented and a review of the creation of systems that allow interface with plants for the synthesis of an interactive soundscape. In particular, the first chapter introduces the central theoretical features of the project by analyzing the subject matter and the field of ecological art in which it falls. The second chapter records the reasoning that leads to the idea and development of the project as a series of correlations about humans, the city and nature. The third chapter concerns the research and design stage where the individual elements of the project are analyzed: the system, the sound, the plants, the space, the interaction, and their recording through a website. In chapter four, the implementation of the systems to be used in the installation is analyzed, focusing on the part of interaction, the creation of the soundscape and the construction of a website. In chapter five, the conclusions from the creation of the theoretical framework for the upcoming installation are developed as a work of ecological art that will function in the contemporary era.
