Abstract
In this work, a study will be presented and analyzed, through the production of a short film, with audio. The film, called "The Chronicle", was created based on the creation of an abstract sound overlay, in the style of experimental sound art. It is a kind of artistic video that shows the phases of growth and development in the life of the person who will star. With the integrated element of stop motion (animation pixilation), the use of retrospective montage, both in sound and image, with retrospective scenes in the past but also from the transitional "nodes" scenes that will follow, we will be transported from one time period to the other. This transition from one stage to another (scene) is characterized as quite abstract and "chaotic", giving the sense of the alternation of time. Then all the procedures carried out for the implementation of this project are analyzed, as is the case in the production of a film under any technique or aesthetic. These stages describe pre-production, production and post-production, each of which is divided into individual stages and processes, which may differ slightly depending on the genre or even the evolution of technology over the years.
