Abstract
My first thesis in the "Jazz Singing" direction concerns arrangements around the Basic Jazz Repertoire. I arranged six jazz standards in special arrangements for duets: voice-piano, voice-guitar, voice-doublebass, voice-drums. I chose songs written by my favorite composers and/or performers who inspired me to want to sing these particular songs and I also collaborated with my fellow students on other instruments to perform these arrangements live.
