Abstract
The subject of this dissertation is the creation of a series of paintings, which capture the daily life of people belonging to the minority population of Thrace, through studies. The title is influenced by the homonymous literary/poetic work of the Turkish poet Nazim Hikmet. In the creations, the human form dominates. The subject is part of the painting, as well as the study of the well-known works of great painters. More specifically, the painting and design issues of the works are examined, in order to understand the technique, the design and painting issues in order to find the personal style.
