Abstract
The present text is a supportive but complementary part of the thesis in the form of a photographic magazine, analyzing the reasons that led to the specific way of shaping its content. Initially, it examines how the medium of information transmission can influence the transmitted message itself, and more specifically, how photography shapes perceptions and stereotypes within the context of advertising imagery. The images used in the magazine are based on the field of fashion photography, but their approach to advertising imagery is unconventional, contrary to what has been established in the current realm of spectacle. The subject of the thesis is the creation of a fashion magazine aiming for non-stereotypical visual experimentation through the depiction of the human body without external pressures from social trends and standards. The supportive text analyzes the photographic magazine and explains how and why the present images were selected, raising questions related to gender, identity, social homogenization, and consumer culture.
