Abstract
The broader theoretical framework with which this thesis deals, the concepts of culture, alliance, monuments, museum collections and exhibits are described in order for the reader to get to know the object which is written in the following thesis which is magic in culture of ancient Egypt and ancient Greece, as well as their burial customs and how it can be seen through the exhibition of the national archaeological museum of Athens. The aim of this paper is to research and report the similarities and differences that the ancient Egyptians and the ancient Greeks had on this subject.
An important part of this thesis emphasizes the connection between the religion of magic and medicine. Especially when they lost hope of everything else everyone resorted to magic. The work is based on original bibliographic research.
