Abstract
This study examines the integration of music education games in the second-grade
classroom, with a focus on enhancing student engagement, skill development, and overall
learning outcomes. A selection of games, including The Music Racer, Treble and Bass Clef
Note Reading Games, and Note Identification Trainer, were evaluated based on their
educational content and alignment with music education goals. The goal of the study was
to identidy ways to integrate these games into the existing curriculum by developing
structured lesson plans that incorporated objectives, materials, procedures, and assessment
strategies. Throughout the process, pedagogical principles fundamental to music education
were considered to ensure consistency with educational contexts and curricula. The study
provides valuable insights and resources for teachers seeking to enrich music instruction
in the second-grade classroom, promoting meaningful learning experiences and fostering
music literacy, creativity, and student appreciation.
