Abstract
In this present dissertation I chose to translate a medical text, titled "Decade Experience in Pleurectomy and Lung Decortications for Chronic Empyema Thoracis", from Greek to English. Apart from the sheer translation of the medical text, I thoroughly mentioned the translation problems that occured and I categorized them according to Nord's model. I also analyzed the difficulty of translating medical terms from English to Greek by mentioning examples from the text that I chose to translate.
