Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present the teaching and design of harmony and music
morphology courses in music schools. The purpose is to highlight ways to make
learning interesting for children, moving away from the mere acquisition of
knowledge. Through activities, singing, and group projects, students will have an
active role, with experiential teaching becoming a tool for understanding and
connecting theory with practice. Subsequently, after implementing the above methods
in two classes of a Music High School, the course progress, teaching results, as well
as suggestions, ideas, and reflections for improving the teaching of these courses are
presented. The appendix contains detailed plans for each teaching hour, which a
teacher can use and adapt in their own way.
The content and objectives of the courses were formulated based on the curriculum,
the government gazette, and the teacher's guide from the IEP (Institute of Educational
Policy). Naturally, the design is indicative and must be adapted according to the needs
of each class and its students. Finally, the paper concludes with findings on the
importance of active student participation in the educational process and the necessity
of continuous teacher training to achieve maximum teaching efficiency.
